Myanmar rejects allegations of state complicity in Rakhine state - ảnh 1

(VOVworld) - Myanmar’s President Thein Sein has rejected the allegations of state  complicity made in the killing of Rohingya Muslims in the country’s western state of Rakhine.

Addressing on the France 24 television channel during a visit to France, Thein Sein said his government hasn’t got any connection to the accusation. He said the fabrication and inflation aim to stain the government adding that an independent committee has been set up to investigate the reasons behind that violence in Rakhine and relevant agencies are executing the committee’s proposals.

One of the proposals is to encourage the local Buddhist and Muslim communities live peacefully not to create more tensions that could instigate violence.
