NA Chairman arrives in Beijing for official visit
(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam arrived in Beijing on Sunday afternoon, beginning a six-day official visit to China.

The visit is made at the invitation of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China Zhao Leji.

The Vietnamese top legislator and his entourage were greeted at Beijing Capital International Airport by Vice Chairman of the NPC’s Standing Committee of Wang Dongming, Deputy Secretary General of the NPC Standing Committee He Xiaoli, head of the NPC’s Foreign Affairs Committee Wang Wen, and other NPC officials, along with Ambassador Pham Sao Mai and representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in China, and the Vietnamese community in the country.
During this visit, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will have meetings and talks with senior Chinese leaders, attend policy forums and friendly exchanges between the peoples of Vietnam and China, hold talks and receive leaders of large corporations, visit the Vietnamese Embassy in China, and meet the Vietnamese community in China.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the Vietnamese National Assembly and the National People's Congress of China will sign a new Cooperation Agreement to replace the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2015 with new connotations.
The Office of the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China will also sign a Cooperation Agreement for the first time to implement cooperation contents between the two countries' legislatures.
