(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the Governors of the three provinces of Santa Fe, Cordoba and Entre Rios attended the Vietnamese-Argentina business talk at the Rosario Stock Exchange, Santa Fe province, on Wednesday.

Addressing the event, National Assembly Chairman Hue said that Vietnam wants the three provinces to consider importing high-quality Vietnamese products, such as rice, coffee, rubber, textiles, cashew nuts, machinery and electronic equipment, towards trade balance. Vietnam is also considering the possibility of importing citrus fruit products and pork from Argentina, he said.
The top legislator suggested the two sides continue to study the expansion of technical cooperation and investment cooperation in high-tech agriculture, agricultural product processing, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and assembly of industrial machinery, automotive and metallurgical equipment.
“Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to further deepen the Comprehensive Partnership with Argentina, in which cooperation between localities plays a particularly important role. Located in the Central Development Triangle of Argentina and being one of the key manufacturing localities of Argentina, we highly appreciate the role of Santa Fe province in connecting businesses, which will contribute to boosting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries," Hue said.
National Assembly Chairman Hue witnessed the exchange of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Central Argentina.
This was the last activity of the official visit to Argentina by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. Afterwards the delegation departed for an official visit to Uruguay.
