Welcoming the delegation at the airport were representatives of the New Zealand government and the Auckland administration. On the Vietnamese side, there were Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Van Trung and officials of the Vietnamese Embassy.

As the two countries have fully opened up after the Covid-19 pandemic and are promoting economic recovery and development, Chairman Hue’s visit aims to deepen the Vietnam-New Zealand Strategic Partnership and the relationship between the two legislative bodies. It will open up new prospects for their relationship within the bilateral framework and also in regional and global forums.
