NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung holds talks with the Japanese Prime Minister
(VOVworld)-National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met Japanese Prime Minister Noda Yoshihiko on Friday, the 3rd day of his visit to Japan.

He reiterated Vietnam’s wish to deepen the comprehensive cooperation and friendship with Japan, considering it a priority in Vietnam’s foreign policy. He called for more Japanese Official Development Assistance to help Vietnam ensure sustainable development and maintain the efficiency of existing poverty reduction and climate change programs. He suggested more exchange of visits and the organization of events to mark the bilateral friendship year in 2013. Japanese Prime Minister Noda Yoshihiko pledged increasing ODA funding for Vietnam, especially in infrastructure development. He expected the National Assembly to finetune the legal system to facilitate Japanese investment in Vietnam for mutual benefit. The same day on Friday, Chairman Hung met Kansai Perfecture Vietnamese Japanese Friendship Association and local leaders after leaving Tokyo for Osaka.
