(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung applauded on Wednesday Vietnamese investors in Laos for generating jobs and strengthening Vietnam-Laos relations. Hung met with Vietnamese investors on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 35th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-35) in Vientiane.

Chairman Hung insisted that Vietnam always gives priority to consolidating its traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Laos. He urged Vietnamese businesses there to support each other, boost cooperation with Lao partners, and study the local market to promote their operation in Laos.

He expressed his hope that Lao authorities will continue to help Vietnamese businesses overcome obstacles to growth.
