She said she believed that under the leadership of the Senate, parliament, and Royal Government with the CPP at its core, Cambodia can maintain its momentum of development and stability, while its people can achieve more in building the country towards prosperity and better position in the region and in the world. Tep Ngorn said Cambodia also marked the 40th anniversary of its victory against the Pol Pot genocidal regime on the same occasion. He underscored that it is an important time for both nations to carry out extended communications activities targeting their people, particularly youths, helping them gain righteous understanding on a historical period when the two nations fought shoulder-by-shoulder amid various difficulties.
