Head of the NA External Relations Committee Nguyen Van Giau said that the visit marked a milestone in bilateral ties. During talks, leaders of the two countries expressed their optimism about prospects of bilateral economic ties. The two sides signed an MoU on an action program to raise bilateral trade to 100 billion USD by 2020 and opened a new air route linking Phu Quoc and Seoul. Many exchanges aimed at boosting bilateral ties were also held on this occasion.
