(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan reiterated Vietnam’s policy taking care of those who have rendered great service to the nation while visiting and presenting gifts to the Quang Ngai provincial Centre for Nursing Revolutionary Contributors on Sunday.

“These gifts, which are materially small but large in spirit, symbolize gratitude for the sacrifice of policy beneficiaries. I hope the center’s staff will do the utmost to look after them both physically and spiritually,” Madam Ngan said.
On this occasion, Chairwoman Ngan handed over 880,000 USD mobilised from the State Bank of Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to help Ly Son Island in Quang Ngai build a market.
She also gave 106 saving books to heroic mothers and other policies beneficiares in Quang Nam province.
