NA Chairwoman stresses coordination between NA and Fatherland Front
(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has co-chaired a review of the 15-year implementation of a joint-working mechanism between the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Addressing the event in Hanoi on Wednesday, Ms. Ngan called on the two agencies to reform their operations for more efficient coordination to accomplish their political tasks. She said “I urge the two agencies to focus on more efficient coordination in all areas, particularly in making laws relating to human rights, citizens’ rights, and state apparatus organization. They include the revised Law on Denunciation, the revised Law on Anti-corruption, Law on Special Economic Administrative Units, and Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Labor, and Law on Education. Both sides need to work closely with each other to prepare for the confidence vote for officials elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 6th session this October. ”
