At a meeting with President of the Republic of Tartastan Rustam Minnikhanov, Madam Ngan said Vietnam will continue to create favorable conditions for Tartastan businesses and investors.

President Minnikhanov said bilateral trade which totaled 25 million USD has not matched up with the potential and the two sides should enhance cooperation in education, science, and tourism.

Ms. Ngan left Tartastan on Monday afternoon for a meeting with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Moscow. She said their community affairs remain an important issue at meetings between Vietnamese and Russian leaders.

Chairwoman Ngan said the Vietnamese Party and State will resolutely protect Vietnam’s sea and islands and resolve disputes by peaceful means in line with international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
