(VOVWORLD) - A draft resolution on HCMC’s urban administration model was discussed at the ongoing National Assembly meeting on Monday.

On the sidelines of the meeting, lawmakers said the model will fully tap HCMC’s potential as a major economic, culture, education, and training center.
HCMC is a hub of international exchange and integration, and an economic engine of the southern zone which greatly contributes to national socio-economic development.
The resolution defines administration organisation at the municipal level, comprising the People’s Committee and the People’s Council.
The NA will vote on the draft resolution at this session.
