NA deputies discuss draft Law on Information security

(VOVworld) – On Thursday, lawmakers heard the Ministry of Information and Communication’s report on the draft Law on Information Security which aims to ensure information security for socioeconomic development. The report reiterated the importance of the Law on Information Security aimed at protecting legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals conducting activities related to information security to improve state management in information surveillance to avoid possible risks.

National Assembly deputies discussed the investment plan of a project to construct Long Thanh International Airport near HCM City.

The project has a total investment capital of 15.8 billion USD with 5.2 billion of which be allocated for the first phase to build a runway and a terminal plus auxiliary works. The airport is expected to be completed by 2025 and will be capable of handling 25 million passengers. Lawmakers proposed involved parties to devise a road map for the project implementation to make full use of capital resources and avoid wastefulness.

Also on Thursday, NA deputies discussed in groups revisions to the Law on Statistics and the Law on Administrative Procedure.
