(VOVworld) – At the National Assembly’s plenary session Tuesday, deputies heard Chairman of the Economic Commission Nguyen Van Giau present a report on revisions to the Law on management and use of state budget in production and business activities. According to the report, different definitions of “state capital” are stipulated in several Laws including the Law on Bidding and the Law on Practicing Thrifts and Preventing Wastefulness. Item 8, Article 3 in the revised Law on Management and Use of State Budget clarifies the definition of “state capital for businesses” by clearly identifying state capital sources allocated to businesses in different periods: initial capital, additional capital, and capital generated from businesses’ after tax revenues. The revised Law also identifies sectors and fields without or with limited state involvement, as well as sectors and fields where state capital should be maintained or withdrawn.
