(VOVworld) - Members of the National Assembly Standing Committee agreed on more rights granted to children as stated in the amended Law on Childcare and Protection. In a review meeting on Friday, deputies called for more responsibility by family, school and the society in ensuring children rights and prevention of child abuse. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said: “More sever cases of child abuse, abduction, trafficking and prostitution have been reported. Amendments to the law must define obligation of enforcement staff who fail to perform their duties.”
