(VOVworld)-Members of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Thursday commented on the draft Law on Grassroots Mediation. The law has 5 chapters governing the role played by mediators and their operation. Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said mediation has become an efficient alternative dispute resolution promoting flexibility and the willingness of participants: “This is a flexible mean to resolve dispute as a competent mediator will join in efforts as the case emerges. The draft law has a regulation on remedies against violations which may prevent people from performing the tasks. We have had the ordinance on mediation and it’s not necessary to upgrade it to a law.”

Delegates also commented on the human recruitment plan for the procuracy sector by 2015.
