NA Standing Committee opens 22nd session
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee began its regular session in Hanoi on Monday to debate amendments to the Education Law, the Higher Education Law, and the Law on Competition.

High on the agenda will also be the draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units and a Q&A session.
"The meeting will not consider votes of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the NA and People's Councils. This will be moved to the next session in October. Discussions on the draft law on Coast Guards, the draft law on Urban Development and Management, and revisions to the Anti-Corruption Law will be postponed due to inadequate comments from relevant authorities", said NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan at the meeting.
