(VOVworld) - The National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 27th session on Monday in Hanoi. During the 10-day session, delegates will comment on major legislative issues in preparation for the upcoming National Assembly meeting in May.
High on the agenda are the issuance of a NA resolution on reforming school textbooks and programs and a draft project on this reform after 2015, legislative supervision, and votes of confidence for positions elected by the National Assembly and People’s Councils. Deputies will review major draft laws on NA organization, state budget, state investment, and social insurance.
