During the Committee's 46th session in Hanoi on Monday, deputies urged for clarification of the State responsibilities for sending Vietnamese people to work abroad.
They said that in order to implement international treaties and agreements, Employment Service Centers should be assigned to be in charge of sending workers abroad. But others argued that if the Employment Service Centers of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs are in charge, it will cost more State budget and human resources and affect the competitiveness of licensed businesses.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee commented on revision of the draft Law on International Agreements and the promulgation of a Decree on micro insurance of politico-social organizations.
