NA Standing Committee to discuss preparations for collecting confidence vote
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee is scheduled to hold its 27th meeting from October 11-17. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver an opening speech and the Vice Chairmen will take turn facilitating the discussions.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on issues to be submitted to the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly which will include reports on the oversight of the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly and the performance of citizen reception, and the handling of people's complaint. They will also discuss the report on voters’ opinions and recommendations sent to the 6th session of the National Assembly.
High on the agenda will also preparations for a vote of confidence for positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 6th session, a review of the Government's report on citizen reception and settlement of people's complaints and denunciations in 2023, the preparation for the 6th session, and the Government's report on the results of reviewing legal documents before submitting to the National Assembly’s 6th session.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will conduct thematic oversight and comment on a number of other important reports and socio-economic, financial, and budget issues.
