NA Standing Committee wraps up its 56th meeting
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee wrapped up its 56th session on Thursday. In his closing speech, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the voting turnout of the election of the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils of the 2021-2026 term was 99.57%.

During the one-day meeting, the NA Standing Committee discussed the report of the election which was held amid complications of the COVID-19 pandemic in 30 cities and provinces. According to the report, the election was held democratically, safely, successfully and in compliance with the law.
Chairman Hue said that 500 NA deputies were elected at the election while the number of deputies of People’s Councils at all levels were basically ensured.
The NA Chairman asked relevant agencies to complete the Budget Balance Report in 2019, State Financial Report in 2019, and Thrift Practicing and Waste Prevention Report in 2020.
