NA Standing Committee’s 58th meeting opens
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened a 3-day meeting in Hanoi on Monday afternoon, where the National Election Council reported the results of verifying the eligibility of elected deputies to the 15th NA.

Committee members will give their opinions on the organisation and the number of members of the Government in the 2021-2026 tenure, personnel work to be submitted to the NA, and preparations for the first plenary session of the 15th NA.
They will discuss the drafts of the socio-economic plan until 2025, the financial plan for the period, the plan for public borrowing and payment, and the medium-term public investment plan.
Also high on the agenda will be discussions of investment policies for the national target program on building new-style rural areas till 2025 and for the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction and social welfare in the next five years.
