(VOVworld) – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Ba Ty said Thailand has become Vietnam’s top trade partner in ASEAN and the 10^th biggest of 116 foreign investors in Vietnam.

At a reception for the Chairman of the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group on Wednesday, Ty highlighted the two legislative bodies’ collaboration, adding that Vietnam and Thailand will increase bilateral cooperation to strengthen their strategic partnership. He urged the two countries to increase cultural exchanges, and called for an early signing of the cultural exchange program for until 2020 and increased cooperation in the conservation of cultural heritage, particularly historical sites built to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh in Thailand.

 Chairman of the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group Sakchai Tanaboonchai said he hopes the two countries’ parliamentarian groups will expand delegation exchanges.
