NA Vice Chairwoman attends WAW 2015
(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese delegation led by National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan is attending the “World Assembly for Women” or WAW 2015, which opened in Tokyo on Friday. The two-day event has attracted the participation of many leading figures from all around the world. Addressing the event, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe highlighted the importance of cooperation between men and women to create a society equal for both genders. Abe’s message indicates a society where women shine and hold positions of leadership, and encourages women’s active participation in various aspects of life. Participants held discussions on various women's issues, including children’s education and economics.
