(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh attended the 6^th session of Nam Dinh province’s People’s Council which opened on Tuesday. Ninh praised the achievements of Nam Dinh in the first half of the year and asked the province to continue to focus on building new rural areas, agricultural production and ensuring defense and social security. He also briefed participants on the country’s socio-economic development and the government’s performance in the first 6 months as well as plans for the remainder of the year. He said that the Government is expected to submit to the National Assembly a number of important projects concerning rural infrastructure and social welfare. The government will continue to stabilize the macro economy, maintain low inflation, settle bad debt and boost agricultural and rural development.
