During the session, deputies will seek to resolve practical problems, create motivation to unleash resources, and contribute to socio-economic recovery and development of the country which has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The session also aims to promptly institutionalize the resolutions of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The meeting will be held via videoconference connecting the National Assembly building in Hanoi to 62 National Assembly delegations of the provinces and centrally-run cities.

The opening ceremony will be broadcast live by the Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, and National Assembly Television.
