National Assembly Chairman meets voters in Ky Anh district

(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has urged Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province, to continue paying attention to the living conditions and job creation for people in rural and resettlement areas. At Saturday meeting with local voters in Ky Anh district, Chairman Hung also called for efforts to develop rural infrastructure and roads for sustainable development. With regards to the upcoming National Assembly session, Hung said the important event is aimed at reviewing the fulfillment of socio-economic development targets and setting out directions for the following years. The legislature will also deliberate major laws, including the revisions to the 1992 Constitution, the revised Land Law among others. Particularly, the National Assembly will focus its discussions on the fight against corruption, which Chairman Hung described as a lasting and tough struggle, saying that the Vietnamese Party, Government and National Assembly are determined to handle it to consolidate the people’s trust.
