National Assembly Chairwoman calls for donation for flood victims
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and employees of the National Assembly Office on Friday donated money equivalent to one day salary to support people in the central region ravaged by natural disasters.

At the event, the National Assembly leaders extended sympathy to people in the central provinces and sent deepest condolences to relatives of officials, officers, soldiers and workers who died on duty.
As of Friday, storms Linfa and Nangka plus a severe tropical depression killed 55 people, left 7 others missing, and damaged 650 houses in the central region, according to an initial report by the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.
