The meeting is a Eurasian parliamentary cooperation mechanism initiated by the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. 

After attending the meeting, Ngan will begin an official visit to Turkey. This is the first visit made by a top legislator of Vietnam and marks a new milestone in the relationship between the two countries. Ms. Ngan will hold talks with her Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim, meet with senior Turkish leaders, visit the Vietnamese Embassy, and attend a discussion on business and investment opportunities for Vietnam and Turkey.
