At a reception for Yamila Pena Ojeda, head of the Cuban Supreme People’s Procuracy, in Hanoi on Friday, Ms. Ngan said the Vietnamese National Assembly strongly supports the cooperation between the two agencies given Cuba’s new Constitution. She added the Assembly is keen on the procuracy’s operation, creating favorable conditions in laws, policies, and resource distribution to help the procuracy undertake its tasks. The top legislator expressed her hope that cooperative programs between the two countries’ Supreme People’s Procuracy will be very effective and contribute to the Vietnam-Cuba relationship.

The head of the Cuban Supreme People’s Procuracy informed of their working visit with their Vietnamese counterpart, saying both sides have developed extensive relations over the years. The guest said that as both Cuba and Vietnam pursue socialism, they need to work closely and support each other.
