She listened to voters’ opinions on public investment, environmental protection, child protection, food safety, anti-corruption, social security, and health insurance. The top legislator said the Party and State are directing relevant agencies to address those issues, adding that the fight against corruption is of great concern. She said: “The Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection announced the disciplinary measures against several cadres who are involved in managing money, assets, and investment associated with State-owned corporations. This shows our resolve to root out corruption without mercy to any official.”
The National Assembly Chairwoman agreed with voters on the need to build trade marks for strong locally-made products.
On the same day, Ngan attended a ceremony to mark the 42nd anniversary of National Reunification Day and May Day and the 127th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
