National Assembly deputies discuss Household Registration Law and Identification Card Law
(VOVworld) – National Assembly Standing Committee on Thursday discussed Household Registration Law and Identification Card Law.

They are expected to submit to the National Assembly at the 7th session next month. The Household Registration Law is to create stable and long-term legal foundation for household registration, management in professional and modern manner. It will designate an identification number to each individual as part of the national electronic household database.
The Identification Card Law is expected to improve state management and boost administrative reform in civil management towards simplicity and transparency.
Addressing the closing session on Thursday, National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son summarized that the 27th session finalized collecting opinions to 12 revised laws and some resolutions. The National Assembly Standing Committee asked the law drafting committee to acquire the recommendations to adjust the revised law and resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly's 7th session.
