National Assembly deputies discuss state budget planning
(VOVworld)-National Assembly deputies on Saturday discussed state budget planning and allocation for next year.
Most called for a strict monitoring of expenses while reducing tax payment delays and unnecessary investment. Deputy Nguyen Huu Duc from Binh Dinh province: “Prudent state budget control and domestic revenue collection must be improved to cope with budget deficit. Social welfare should be prioritized in the budget allocation for next year.”
Deputies agreed on the government plan to issue another 170 trillion dong of bond by 2016 while allocating the resource on feasible and key projects. Deputy Cao Sy Kiem from Thai Binh province: “I agree on the government plan to focus investment in remote and mountainous areas. Meanwhile, finances generated from bond issuance should be made available to rural development, healthcare, water supply and transport projects.”
