National Assembly deputies raise recommendations on revised Constitution
(VOvworld) – Head of the Constitutional Revision Drafting Committee, Phan Trung Ly on Monday presented a report summarizing recommendations of National Assembly deputies at the groups and plenary discussions on the revised 1992 Constitution. National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu then asked the deputies to make direct adjustments on the revised Constitution and clarify their ideas on attached paper on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Constitutional Revision Drafting Committee will acquire all ideas the last time before submitting the final draft to the National Assembly for approval on November 28.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung repeated that the revised constitution was put on a public referendum in two year. It was presented to meetings of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo. Hung said the National Assembly has taken into consideration the people’s opinions which were presented by the deputies. "The Drafting Committee asks the National Assembly to review the draft constitution so we can reach agreement to make a vote. I call on the deputies to contribute your ideas to finalize the draft constitution."
Under the schedule, Head of the Constitutional Revision Drafting Committee, Phan Trung Ly will present the last report elaborating deputies’ recommendations on November 28 and the National Assembly deputies will vote to approve it.
