(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies discussed draft revisions to the 1992 Constitution on Monday. They agreed on the importance of the preface in any constitution as it reflects the most important historical milestones of the country, the main content of the constitution, and the right to issue the constitution.

The deputies said that based on public opinions collected earlier, the preface in the draft revisions has been edited to be more concise and specific, introducing the glorious history of the nation, the establishment of the Party and State, and clarifying the purposes and subjects of the formulation, implementation, and protection of the Constitution.
