(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies on Saturday discussed a verification report of the draft law to amend the Law on Enterprises and a report on negotiations between Vietnam and Laos for an agreement on free migration and unlicensed marriage at border areas.

They also discussed the balance of the 2011 state budget and commented on the revised Law on Science and Technology. Concerning the 2011 state budget, a number of deputies agreed that there were shortcomings in the management of the state budget and inaccurate forecasts impacted the estimates. Many deputies said state budget spending in a number of cultural and social areas did not meet the set target and some deputies proposed further analysis of the medium and long-term impacts of the fiscal policy on the economy and society.
