(VOVWORLD) - During the ongoing ninth session of the 14th National Assembly in Hanoi on Thursday, legislators adopted a resolution recognizing and permitting the enforcement of rulings issued by dispute settlement agencies under the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA).

The EVIPA, signed on June 30 last year in Hanoi, will create a favorable environment for Vietnam to attract further investment in finance, telecommunications, transport, distribution, processing, hi-tech manufacturing, and clean, and renewable energy.
On Thursday, the National Assembly passed a revised Law on Promulgation of Legal Normative Documents.
