Four cabinet members include Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hoang Tuan Anh and Head of Supreme People’s Procuracy, Nguyen Hoa Binh. Prior to the Q&A session, many deputies expressed their concern over the issues to be addressed at this session. Nguyen Tan Tuan is a deputy from Khanh Hoa province: "I want to direct questions to Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs as this sector has a great impact on social welfare and employment policies and event the adoption of new policies to support people in need. The minister needs to reassess vocational training programs as they are not effective and there is overlapping between ministries and sectors. Some occupations are not practical and don’t meet the social demand".

Truong Van Vo, a National Assembly deputy from Dong Nai province, said: "The voters have high expectations for resolving the issue of the low price for good crops and an unstable consumption market for agricultural products. The Government has guidelines but the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development implemented them slowly. It’s important to encourage enterprises to invest more in agriculture and rural areas. Though the ministry set the target to replant around 20,000 hectares of forest land  in the period of 2006 – 2012, only 700 hectares of forest have been covered. Those are what I am concerned most".

Prior to the Q&A session, Nguyen Duc Hien, Head of the Committee for People’s Aspirations under the National Assembly’s Standing Committee, presented a report on resolution of voters’ petitions submitted to the previous session of the 13th National Assembly. The Q&A session will be broadcast live on TV and radio.
