At this session, the Standing Committee gave opinions on the explanation, reception and revision of the draft Archives Law and commented on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Guards.

Deputies approved the issuance of a resolution on assigning additional prosecutors to the People's Procuracy, gave feedback on the National Assembly's People's Aspiration Work Report in January 2024, and commented on the draft Summary Report of the National Assembly’s 5th Extraordinary Session.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue stressed the need to learn from experience on regular and periodic issues, especially in finance and budget, saying that agencies need to be more proactive and strengthen sooner and better coordination with each other to avoid unnecessary submissions to extraordinary meetings.
