National Assembly wraps up its 3rd session
(VOVWORLD) - The 15th National Assembly has completed a major workload with high consensus and unity during its 3rd session which closed in Hanoi on Thursday.

Addressing the closing ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said major decisions have been made for the coming time following discussion and analysis of the current context as well as challenges emerged from the world geopolitical situation and inflation.
Mr. Hue said: "The National Assembly has endorsed major orientation and solutions for the government and related agencies to implement drastically, including acceleration of public investment and the social economic development stimulus packages. These fiscal and monetary incentives will promote resources and momentum for rapid social economic development recovery."

The National Assembly passed 5 laws, 3 resolutions and commented on 6 other bills to realize the Party guidelines and the 2013 Constitution in line with international commitment. Chairman Hue said that it has been the first time the legislature approved investment proposal of 5 national key projects, bringing the total capital to more than 17 billion USD.
"The key projects are in transport, national defense and security with significant spin-off effect for regional interconnectivity and social economic development with unprecedented mechanism initiated. The National Assembly has assigned the government to ensure the quality, transparency and progress of these projects."
The National Assembly agenda was updated with extraordinary personnel issue to remove the former Health Minister’s National Assembly deputy status for his serious misconducts. Chairman Hue called for early implementation of laws and resolutions which have been passed to promote social economic recovery and development in post pandemic.
