The event involved 18,000 delegates from more than 670 locations at districts and communes, which play crucial roles in realizing laws and regulations on protecting children.
"There’s a simple truth that a child born and raised with love in a happy family will grow up in confidence and calm and develop a sense of caring for others. A child receiving good care and frequent encouragement has more chances to enjoy a better future. Therefore, it is one of our national strategic tasks to ensure sustainable development.", said Mr. Phuc.
Delegates evaluated child abuse situations, analyzed reasons and proposed measures on child abuse prevention and control. Over the first 5 months of this year, more than 680 child abuse cases were detected.
