In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue asked for stronger efforts and closer coordination between ministries, sectors, and localities to make the program effective. He stressed the need to focus on the local community and encourage them to contribute to the program implementation and pay special attention to disadvantaged areas. Thanks to the program, the living conditions of people in the northern mountain region has improved remarkably in the last ten years.
