National Trade Promotion Programmes contribute to export growth

National Trade Promotion Programmes have contributed to Vietnam ’s export growth over the past years. At a seminar in Hanoi yesterday, representatives from domestic exporters and trade associations expressed their wish to see Vietnam’ss overseas trade counselors should uphold their role in trade promotion activities. Dao Tran Nhan, a trade counselor in the US said Vietnam has missed some good export and investment attraction opportunities due to a lack of coordination among trade promotion agencies and domestic enterprises: “I realize that Vietnamese enterprises are short of information. The Trade Promotion Department should improve the connectivity between export support centers and trade consuls around the world”.
