(VOVWORLD) - Two NATO-led drone strikes in Afghanistan’s Kunar province have killed at least 18 ISIS fighters, the provincial police chief confirmed on Thursday.

The first attack on Wednesday, killed 11 fighters, including two local commanders in Batash Dara area. The second killed seven, including one commander in Sawki.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, on Thursday voiced support for Russia’s proposal to deploy a UN peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, but said the UN presence must be in eastern Ukraine, not only along the contact line.
