Shandong province’s health department has reported another case positive to H7N9 virus in Zao Zhuang city.

The patient is a 4-year-old boy whose father is also infected with the virus in the province. In another development, according to a press source from Shanghai’s authority, one patient found infected with H7N9 virus on April 17^th has died. So far, there have been 33 H7N9 virus positive cases in Shanghai city, 9 of whom are under treatment, 11 have recovered and 13 others dead. In China, up to April 24^th, 108 people have been reported to be infected with H7N9 virus, 23 of whom are dead.
