(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has chaired a workshop in Da Nang city to gather comments on a draft decree to promote the fisheries industry development.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh visited Fisheries Resources Surveillance Zone 2 and Marine Police Ship CSB 8001 in Da Nang

The decree will introduce further investment in fisheries infrastructure and aquaculture farming. Fishermen will benefit from credit up to 95% of the cost for a steel boat and 85% for a wooden boat with 11 years payment period. Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh reiterated more support for fishermen so that they could sail offshore and cooperate with authorities to defend national sea and island sovereignty.
