The Politburo said that over the past decades, the great national unity bloc has been constantly consolidated, contributing to socio-economic development, national defense, security, foreign affairs, and improving the people’s life.

General Secretary Trong called for further promoting the tradition of Great National Unity because he said tradition is the strength as summed up by the ancestors.

“It’s imperative to make our country more prosperous, civilized and happy. When issuing the Resolution, don’t’ follow the path others have already gone through, but create new vitality and create a new change in reality,” he said.

The Politburo assigned the Project Steering Committee to absorb comments from the Politburo and relevant agencies to finalize the project and report it to the Politburo before submitting to the 8th Party Central Committee’s meeting in October this year.
