(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front on Monday discussed the campaign to build new-style rural areas and more civilized urban spaces.

The consultation aims to promote national unity and individual creativity to ensure effective implementation of the campaign. Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association Leu Vu Dieu said: “First, we have to create links between households to form a consolidated group, which will help develop a good cooperative. A new model in which the groups work voluntarily together for mutual benefit will be a strong foundation for a sustainable cooperative.”

Vietnam Fatherland Front Vice President Tran Thanh Man said new-style rural areas should meet criteria such as improving people’s living standards, creating jobs, upgrading the infrastructure, and reducing poverty.
