(VOVworld) – The newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would implement the commitments that he made during the election campaign and announce a new cabinet within 2 weeks.

At a press conference in Ottawa on Wednesday, Mr. Trudeau said he would accelerate the establishment of a new government and announce the new cabinet on November 11. The new cabinet will be smaller in scale and more gender balanced. Mr. Trudeau said the parliament would operate at suitable times and planned to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference in late November. He said he hoped to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum and the group of world’s newly emerging and developed economies, the G-20.
