(VOVworld) – Nghe An provincial authorities on Tuesday held a press conference to announce how the complex incident in Trai Gao parish, Ngi Phuong commune, Nghi Loc district was settled. A senior official from the provincial People’s Committee said some webpages had posted inaccurate stories, which distorted reality and incited riots and violations of the law.  He said relevant forces are working to ensure safety and order in the location, while preventing further extremist acts. Nghe An police are investigating the causes behind the riots and acts against on-duty officials and illegal detention on August 30, and September 3-4.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Thai Van Hang asked the media to report the happenings in Trai Gao parish impartially and accurately so that the public would understand the truth and avoid being enticed and incited into breaking the law.
